An iconic view of London

I guess most visitors to the UK will come to London although there are beautiful parts to the UK which often get missed. However, London does draw the majority since it offers so much history and places to visit all in the one city.image

The Houses of Parliament where the seat of our heritage and government sits is viewed in many different guises.  Here I have used my encaustics to create an ACEO depicting an artist's impression of the Houses of Parliament with the river Thames flowing in the foreground. You will also note the tower which houses the famous London clock, Big Ben, whose large bell resounds the time over the City of London.

Remember, ACEO (Art Cards, Editions and Originals) can be mounted, framed as a set or individually. Or, simply kept in a wallet as part of your collection. The only rule concerning ACEOs is that they should be 3.5" x 2.5". Thus allowing the ownership of an original work of art at affordable prices.

Check out my Etsy shop or my Artfire shop for more ACEOs and other creations!

You did a lovely job capturing The Houses of Parliament. London is a great city to visit but you are so right about visitors just going there and missing out on so many other great cities in the rest of England. I may be biased but I love Newcastle upon Tyne (my husband is a Geordie). York is also a lovely town too and I could go on and on.

London is definetly a very versatile location, with it's many iconic buildings and surrounding urban environment. That is a very diverse picture you have there. It is always a pleasure to view new waves of art, as it portrays an individuals perception of experience. Lovely to drop by. Thanks to Entrecard. :)

I have never looked at the House of Parliament from this perspective. Lovely I must say.

I wonder about my friends who made the front of the parliament alive. I wonder about Brian.

Well those were the days.
