Forsaken Landscape

Countries where drought persists; places where farmers have tried to tend to their animals but simply had to give up to the forces of nature which made life too harsh to bear.  Perhaps, something totally different?

imageTake a look at this encaustic ACEO I have called ‘Forsaken Landscape, an original painting in wax and tell me what you see?

I think those ACEO are great! Lovely, though the subject is not altogether a pleasant one...

Pat I am rather bleary eyed this evening, but I know that I admire your work tremendously! I have never known an encaustic artist before and I am fascinated by your compositions, color, and visions.

This is what I imagine when I think of Hell - barren, desolate, and unforgiving.
