Yes, made it before the new year of 2015!! What with family, moving house etc etc my life has really been on hold but I would like to think upwards and onwards.
One thing I have kept up is my Fine Art America site where you will be able to view many of my artworks and purchase them in various forms such as print on canvas etc directly from Fine Art America.
Let me know what you think?
As soon as I am a lot more organised I will restart my painting/encaustic career again. Meanwhile, do have a good browse and you might find something of interest to you!

April and counting!
I can't believe that we are nearing the end of April? Where has the time gone? I have been pretty quiet due to moves afoot in the home front which always seems to take over your mind!
I am still selling on various sites but thought I would remind you of these pictures ......

Exotic Bamboo
There is an element of the abstract in this but I love the way light and colour allows the viewer to use their imagination. What do you think?
Another is ....
Up the Nile
This is quite evocative of the middle east/Africa. It could be sunset or sunrise as the dhow edges along the coast with the sun casting shadows in the water.
Do let me know your thoughts on the above works or any other you might see!

A new painting!
I tried a different approach/style using the hot iron but used various angles to create this illusion of a cityscape waterfront. Works best if you squint your eyes!! Try it and let me know what you think?
I shall be trying this using different colours and see how they pan out.

Wax Green and Blue Abstract
Hi, Happy Tuesday!
I am looking to source some coloured card so that I can add another dimension to the encaustics. However, in the meantime here is one ....
It is up to the viewer to decide which way up they would like this image. More importantly, what do they see? I have entitled this 'Green and Blue Abstract' but it could be an image of flowing water over seaweed?

I shall be loading some of my more recent paintings as advertised on FAA!
Here is Pulmeria in Wax
I love the vivid colour of the pulmeria which tends to give so much more depth to the painting. What do you think?

Well!!!! Yes, can you believe it? I am actually back writing on my blog!!
Yes, I know it has been an age but life has been so busy whilst I was working in the wedding industry that it seemed to take over my life! Not, that I am complaining...... I did meet some lovely people and thoroughly enjoyed working with them to help create that special feel, look for their special day.
Anyway, enough of that!
I am now back and will be around so much more.
In the last few months I have registered with Fine Art America where I am able to sell many of my paintings in the form of prints, canvas prints etc. This is my principal outlet really as I disappear to a wonderful bolt hole in Devon as often as we are able to. Therefore, it does make it more difficult to arrange for the despatching of original works should I be lucky enough to sell them!
However, many of the works on Fine Art America are actually ACEOs but taken as a larger picture they come out well so they can be used as prints. Therefore, if you are interested in any do ask the question and I will let you know if the painting you are interested in is available and when.
You can also find me on Twitter where you will be able to see some of the great people I follow! There are some wonderful artists there too.
So stay tuned and we will see what will be!
